Hello and welcome to our Living School website!

New global challenges, new school! Imagine a school where along with learning how to read, write, and count, your child learns essential life skills, such as, being autonomous, having harmonious relationships with others, living a healthy lifestyle in mind and body, and understanding his/her contributing role and value in the world. What a great way to prepare oneself for life!

This is our vision. Living School is a school for learning the fundamental academic skills and for supporting our children to become citizens of the world, enlightened and responsible.

Living School offers children aged 2.5 to 9 years :

  • Curriculum aligned with the French National Educational agenda..
  • An education that focuses on developing each child’s well-being, living together, the environment, sustainable development, citizenship, and health.
  • Bilingual education (French and English) for all students: 50% immersion in the second language.
  • An English Club offered on Wednesdays open also for those who attend other schools.
  • Creative activities offered during the vacations (more information will be forthcoming). (club vacances)

Our approach

Our approach to education appreciates and understands the vital role adults (parents, teachers, extended family, etc.) play in the development of our children. Therefore, our school is also:

  • A place of co-education: involvement of the parents and workshops to support parental development.
  • A place for teacher development and reflection of practice.

School has received sponsorship from Jean-Louis Servan-Schreiber, President of Psychologies Magazine, André Giordan, Professor at the University of Genève, author of Apprendre! (Learn!)et and Une autre école pour nos enfants (Another School for Our Children), and Patrick Viveret, Philosopher and Referential Advisor at the Heart of Counting, author of Reconsidérer la richesse (Reconsider Richness).
