Parents

Co-education

We want to manage the education process with you. We will not do it without you or against you, but with you.

  • Our key meetings: bi-annual parent-teacher meetings, bi-annual private meetings, evening education workshops.
  • Parents are invited to also speak at the school, to lead workshops, or present a career.

Workshops

We regularly hold evening workshops for all parents, whether or not their children attend the school. Sample Topics Include:

  • Exercising fair, kind authority
  • Knowing how to set limits
  • Developing listening skills
  • Improving the family’s health
  • Constructively monitoring homework (for older children)
  • Parenting: awareness of positive, constructive life skills
  • Learning to recognize and foster your child’s potential.

In order to learn more about the dates for our next parent workshops, please see training.

Some testimonials:

The workshops are simply fantastic. After I attended one, I realized that I have become a better listener, I also manage my own feelings better, my own feelings in sensitive situations with my son and hence situations do not escalate as they had done previously. The ambiance is more relaxed and we’re more in sync with one another. I know I am better understood without having to repeat the same thing ten times. I have been able to incorporate all the advice really easily into my everyday life. Applying this advice to situations is a very important life tool to know, especially in situations between the parent and the child. It allows the behavior to be corrected and to acknowledge the difference of the child’s reaction.

Nathalie, mother of a 4-year-old child

I have a different attitude with Clara. I listen to her more while at the same time asserting my expectations and the limits. My husband noticed a change right away, he’s impressed.

Sabine, mother of a 3-year-old child

This training really has the advantage, within just a short time, of casting an ‘academic’ light on questions we ask ourselves and proven practical answers. It enables me to discuss problems with other mothers. The co-leaders’ talent and credentials are undisputable. This puts one’s mode of education on a day-to-day basis in perspective. I discovered how necessary it is to boost the child’s self-confidence and how far ahead it is necessary to boost one’s own.
